We have really been looking forward to sharing some miles on the trails with all of you this June, however the Governor’s re-opening schedule will still have gatherings limited to 250 at the end of June so this change makes the most sense for everyone.

Not to worry! The awesome staff at Eagle Creek Park has worked with us to move this event to Saturday, August 29th! Everyone currently registered will automatically be moved to the new date so you don’t need to worry about missing out on running with us under the stars.

We do understand that some of you may not be able to attend on the new date so we have a couple options for you:

  • You may sell and transfer your entry to another racer. Once you complete the sale, the new runner must complete the TRANSFER ENTRY FORM on our website. We have waived the processing fee for these transfer.
    • To help you connect with other runners that may be interested, we have created a post on the FACEBOOK EVENT PAGE. Please post a comment here if you are looking to sell your entry.
  • As with all our events, you may choose to TRANSFER YOUR ENTRY TO THE VIRTUAL RACE and complete your run/walk on your own time at any location of your choosing (Note: Like all events, there is a transfer fee for the virtual race choice, however we have discounted this fee to just cover shipping costs).

Race Date – Saturday, August 29, 2020

Schedule at a Glance:

  • Saturday Packet Pickup at the race start area, 7:30-9:00pm
  • Race starts at 9:30pm
  • Race cutoff:  The course will close to the start of additional laps at 11:20pm, Half Marathon runners will not be allowed to start a new lap after this time. The course closes at 1:30am.

7400 W. 56th Street (DO NOT USE the north gate, use the main/south gate of the park)
Please note that park gate fees will be collected upon entry into the park.

Important Race Details

Light required: Headlamp or flashlight is required during this race

Race Field: Limited

Race Start: This will be a chip timed start, your time does not start until you cross the line.  In order to spread out runners and reduce the “hole-shot” backup, we will start racers in waves of approximately 30-40 racers at a time.

Chip Timing & Results: All distances chip timed by Race|Result Timing. The chips are attached to the back of your bib and are disposable so we do not need them back. Please wear your bibs on the front of your body and do not cover with heavy coats.  Results are available immediately following your finish online, by text or on the monitor (check the back of your bib for details).

Parking: There is parking available in the park. Use the beach area lots first. Parking along the road is ok, but do not drive on the grass.

Facilities: Portables Only, at the start and each aid station


NOTE:  Overall Top 3 Awards are presented as soon as the 3rd place finisher in each group finishes.  Age Group awards can be picked up at the awards table after you finish, just check the results screen and look for your place in the Age Group column.

Course Information

summer-map-iconThe 6.55 mile loop is nearly all single track trail, 1 lap for the Quarter and 2 for Half. This course design allows us to see the runners more frequently and contain the safety and security of the runners more effectively.
